Founded by bestselling author and TV chef Theresa Baumgärtner, Hazelnut House was born from a dream of hospitality that celebrates craftsmanship, nature, and heartfelt encounters. Today, Theresa and her husband Jean-Marc Weber share this vision together with their international team and welcome guests from all over the world.

More than just a hotel, Hazelnut House is a living house of hospitality – a place where people gather to celebrate life in all its forms. With ten individually designed rooms, a seasonal restaurant, and lovingly curated event spaces spread across our two buildings Maison 2 and Maison 5, our home offers the perfect setting for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, retreats, or creative workshops with Theresa herself. Whether for an intimate dinner or a grand celebration, every occasion is infused with warmth, attention to detail, and the unmistakable spirit of togetherness.

At Hazelnut House, sustainability and elegance walk hand in hand. We live in tune with the seasons, harvest from our own kitchen garden, and cook with ingredients from local farmers and artisans we know by name. Our rainwater is collected and reused, our energy comes from the sun, and every detail reflects our deep respect for nature and mindful living.
