It is November in Hazelnut House. The air in the morning is humid and the leaves on the pear tree are already turning into the most beautiful colours. I am so much looking forward
to this coming cosy time! The anticipation for the Advent could not be greater for me! Because Christmas at Hazelnut House is simply magical! After the success of last year I would like
to invite you to our un Wreath Parties on 15th and 16th November 2024 at Hazelnut House!
The table in the big fireplace hall is already set. On brown wrapping paper the handcrafted utensils are neatly laid out: red garden shears, binding wire in various thicknesses and straw
rings as a base. The whole room smells of the many bundles of fir greenery, a hint of eucalyptus, mediterranean herbs and the resin of pine cones. From the forest of Hazelnut House, I
have brought you some woven, gnarled twigs. And mistletoe from our old orchard. What a potpourri of Christmas scents! And what a joy to work with all these treasures from nature! From
outside the laughter of the arriving guests rolls in. Welcome, I hear myself calling out. A favourite word. The fire crackles in the sandstone fireplace and we enjoy together warm scones
with steaming tea. Afterwards we start with our creations. The combination of different greens, flowers, cones and even feathers creates the most wonderful Christmas wreaths under our
hands. Each wreath becomes a wonderful unique specimen!
